Declaring Myself! LiDA 103 Introduction
Hello! My name is Caitlin Ratcliffe and I am a librarian at Red Deer
College. I recently completed my MLIS and I am very excited to continue my
education with OERu's LiDA 103.
I am taking this course to develop my professional knowledge. As a recent graduate, there are many topics and areas available for me to expand my expertise. I believe that open education, copyright, and open licensing will be increasingly important to my field in the digital world. It is important that I have an excellent grasp on these subjects and I look forward to learning as much as possible in LiDA 103.
I believe that, in addition to the personal learning environment I recently established on OERu's other sites, maintaining a blog is an excellent way participate in online learning. I look forward to seeing the unique blogs created by the other participants!
